Ambassador Retreat

The HTCS Ambassador Ministry Team, under the guidance of the OLA Retreat Team, kicked off the new school year with a retreat focusing on Christian leadership. Throughout the retreat, Ambassadors were led to focus on ways to let their light shine while being good Christian leaders and role models for others in our school community.  Team-building activities demonstrated positive ways for our Ministry to work as one to accomplish our goals for the year. After listening to Scripture readings and learning about some of the Saints that we as Catholics celebrate in our faith, the students created and presented plays that exhibited how the virtue of each saint could be shared in our lives today. Students ended the retreat by sharing in Scripture readings and making bracelets to remind them of the qualities that make a good Christian leader and role model. Having the OLA Retreat Team conduct the retreat was an excellent example of Christian leadership and teamwork for the Ambassadors to experience firsthand.
