FAQs:
Question: I use Vista. How do I get the videos to play?
Answer: If you cannot view the videos on our
site, please try these suggestions:
1.
Click here to download and install the latest version of Flash Player from
Adobe
2.
If you still cannot watch the videos, go to this link and follow the
instructions (this worked for me!) If this step does not work,
and you have another suggestion, please share with us by contacting Ms. Magruder.
Thank you.
Question: How can I make the slides in some of the gallery photos run like a
slide show?
Answer: Click the first slide to enlarge it. If the photos in this group are
part of a slide show, there will be a button at the top of the page to
the far right of the slide show title bar that will start/stop the slide
show. (Not all photos are part of a slide show. If there are only a few photos,
they might not be part of a slide show.)
Question: Why do I get a square on the front page of this site with no
pictures in it? Other people have a slide show on their computers.
Answer: Your computer may be using a popup blocker. Just click the bar at the
top of the screen and check "allow popups from this site". Anther
possibility is that you need to download the latest version of Java to run the
slide show applet. Go to Java's site and try downloading the latest version of
Java at http://www.java.com/en/download/index.jsp.
for this simple fix.
Question: Why can't I open the newsletter and some of the other
documents?
Answer: The newsletter (and some of the other documents) are created using
Adobe Acrobat Professional. You need the Adobe Acrobat Reader to open those
documents. Go to http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2_allversions.html
to download this software.
Question: How can I print/save a photo from the website?
Answer: Almost all of the photos appear first in the smaller view, so click
each photo to enlarge it before trying to print/save. Once you are looking at
the enlarged photo, right-click the photo and choose the "print" or
"save" option. Note-Since using Windows XP, I often have to add .jpg
to the end of the file name when using the Save Picture option. Otherwise, I get
error messages and cannot view the photo. If you know of a better way to save
photos from the website, please share your knowledge with us by emailing me at smagruder@holytrinitycatholic.net.
Thank you.
Question: How can I see everything on my screen?
Answer: Your display properties should be set to 1024x768 or higher.
Question: How do I slow down the scrolling text?
Answer: Position your mouse over the text.
