Our 6th grade students recently wrote Valentine's cards to chained and abused dogs to help raise awareness of this inhumane treatment of animals. Ms. Tami Thayne, founder of Dogs Deserve Better, sponsors this yearly Valentine campaign. The 6th graders received a certificate of thanks along with the new 2010 Dogs Deserve Better calendar which features many rescued dogs who are now enjoying much better lives.
